St. Martin's Church

A Christian Welcome for All!

St. Martin’s is based in Southdene, and meets in a 1960s building that proves that ‘you can’t judge a book by its cover!’ The building inside is dominated by a large wooden cross with Christ the King on it, and as a church we seek to make Christ the King the centre of all we do.

We meet together each Sunday at 9:30am to worship God, enjoy friendship together and to try and work out what it means to live as a Christian today. The church includes many different people, mostly from the local area, and from a wide range of backgrounds and interests and we welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

We are in the process of modernising the church building to provide a space for the church and the local community to use. This will involve installing toilets and a kitchen, creating a cafe-style space at the back of church, and a new entrance, as well as refurbishing and redecorating the church building.

The church hall is let to Knowsley Domestic Violence Support Services, and it functions as a drop in and support centre for anyone suffering from Domestic Violence.
