Camelot!

On the 17th July 2004 Kirkby Parish Churches took 96 people (yes that's right 96!!!) to Camelot for a day out for all the family. Mums, dads, nans, granddads, cousins, aunties, nieces and nephews all climbed in the 2 coaches for a fun packed day.

The weather came out in full force with it raining for over 2 hours, but everyone was in full spirits with our sandwiches, wellies, raincoats, and sun cream (we could always hope or pray!!!)

The day brought much laughter and friendship. Good times were had by all and yes the sun did come out eventually!!! With the roaring of jousting in our ears we set home with Caroline getting lost on the way and many exhausted children settling down for a nap!!

This trip was made possible by the Liverpool Diocese Mother's Union through their AFIA fund.
