Merseyfest

Between 14th -21st July upto 4000 young people from all over the world will be coming to Liverpool and camping on Croxteth Park. During the afternoons and evenings they will be going out into local communities in small teams in order to work alongside local people in various community projects.

The Kirkby churches are playing a full part in Merseyfest with 3 teams working in Southdene, The Millennium Park and in Tower Hill on a variety of projects.

In the evenings the churches will be hosting various events, culminating in a concert in the Kirkby Suite on Friday 19th August, featuring Liam Moore (Phil Collins impersonator and winner of "Stars in their Eyes") and children from the Performing Arts Studio.

Tickets are £2.

Merseyfest will wind up with a huge, free to enter festival on Croxteth Park on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August. More details about Merseyfest can be found on www.merseyfest.com
