Here at St. Andrew's we seek to play a full part in the life of our local community. Every 3 months the different agencies working in the area gather together in our church hall to have lunch together, share information and learn more about each other. We have particularly strong links with our 2 local state schools, Eastcroft and Ravenscroft, holding weekly assemblies and having representation on the Governing body at Ravenscroft. Children from these schools meet in the hall through the council playscheme 3 evenings a week and in August we will be holding our second holiday club(Expedition Force") for 5-11 year olds. We also work closely with Surestart who recently completed building an extension to the church complex and began working from the St Andrew's site in April, and are currently looking at ways in which to develop our partnership. | |||||||||||||||||||||
